ABSTRACT

The general objective of this study was to determine the characteristics presented by the emotional states of students from Peruvian universities in times of pandemic, in the year 2022. The applied methodology was quantitative, applying the hypothetical-deductive method. A questionnaire was carried out where 10 questions were formulated to assess the fear dimension, 11 for the depression dimension and 9 for the anxiety dimension. This questionnaire on emotional states was adapted by a team of researchers, and was conducted through Google forms given the situation we have been facing as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was applied to 503 students from 17 public and private universities nationwide through virtual social networks. Statistical processing was done using the statistical package SPSS V-28. The results obtained in the investigation allow us to show that 60% of the students present mild emotional states, 35% of the students present moderate emotional states and there are 5% of students who present altered emotional states. © 2023, University of Cienfuegos, Carlos Rafael Rodriguez. ABSTRACT

The development of investigative skills in students allows increasing knowledge in the technological area not only in their training (theoretical, practical), but for the exercise of their profession from now on. The objective of this work is to determine the research skills of university students in the technological area, Research with a qualitative, quantitative, descriptive approach that has a greater significance in times of Covid. The study sample is non-probabilistic in a census manner due to work conditions, applied to 30 students from the faculty of technology of a public university. The information collection was initially given through a questionnaire and in a second moment a semi-interview was conducted structured confirmatory effect, both via virtual The main conclusion reached regarding investigative skills is that they are essential and important components in the development of research for the student in the technological area, no skill is superior to the others, and together they complement and develop, it is determined with a frequency of 40% in correspondence to the indicator according to most of the dimensions evaluated, it refers that the student tends to the execution and progress of investigative skills. © 2021, University of Cienfuegos, Carlos Rafael Rodriguez. ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research was to determine the relevance of the media in the prevention, education and contextual management of COVID-19. Methodology: descriptive non-experimental transectional research. An international survey validated by experts was applied, surveying 1082 people during a month. The countries with the highest participation were Peru, Colombia, Mexico, the United States and Russia. The data was processed using SPSS version 25. 64.7% of the respondents affirmed that the means were decisive in preventing the pandemic;59.1% recognized the importance of the media for awareness and prevention of the pandemic, and 64% valued the importance of the media for the contextual management of the pandemic;demonstrating a significant relationship between the variables. Contributions: the need for strategic, prudent, ethical and socially responsible communication that benefits citizens in a pandemic situation is highlighted. © 2021 United World Center of Research Innovation and Publication. ABSTRACT

Social isolation, which is a measure imposed due to the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, it significantly affects people's mental health. The objective was to determine the emotional states of university teachers in the face of Covid-19. Stress showed a high level of 89.4%;anxiety, with a high level of 94.2%;anxiety with a high level of 92.3%. Regarding resilience, this was manifested at a medium-high level with 60.9% of those surveyed. In conclusion, the emotional state of most of the teachers is low and their response through their resilience is medium-high. © 2020, Universidad del Zulia. All rights reserved.
